Wheaton Van Lines Driver of the Year

After 20 years as an employee of Gallea Transfer, Jerry Barta received the Intermittent Driver of the Year Award and has logged more than 274,000 safe miles with Wheaton.

Wheaton Van Lines Agent of the Year

1971. Wheaton's most prestigious honor. Agents are judged based on performance in sales, customer service, hauling, and minimal claims.

Quality Agent Awards

1993 through 2003. Gallea is one of four agents to receive this honor every year since its inception. In 1995, we placed among the top five agents, in 1998, 2001 and 2003 we were among the top 15. In 2003, we recieved the "Decade of Quality Award".

These awards are based on points earned in the areas of customer service ratings and data pertaining to claims, safety and estimating accuracy. Points were also earned for development of an internal quality control program and for recognizable improvement in various categories of performance.

Bronze Sales Medallion

1993, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2001 and 2002. Awarded for achieving a predetermined sales goal.

Performance Award for International Sales Excellence

Awarded for achieving a predetermined goal, which encompasses number of shipments, volume and revenue generated.

Certified Moving Consultants (CMC)

Gallea is extremely proud to have two CMCs on staff. To obtain the CMC designation, our sales department completes ongoing training in the moving and storage field. We are required to complete a minimum of eight hours continuing education and training to become re-certified. The training must relate to our position in the moving and storage industry.

Agent Certification Program (ACP)

This program is used as a training tool to assist agencies in becoming more familiar with Wheaton's policies and procedures. The ACP is the foundation of Wheaton's training initiative and will eventually include focus on sales, customer service, packing, loading, and other industry-related topics.
